welcome, new visitors

There isn't much fanfare for the new crop of visitors who have come in this month, but what they encounter is quite wondrous. Is it a cruise ship? Is it a hotel? Is it a tiny planet? No one can give them a straight answer, but all are encouraged to take part in the buffet, where visitors may find an assortment of foods both familiar and unfamiliar to them. There is an open mic night happening in one of the lounges on site, featuring staff and visitor performances. Or there are a handful of shops to browse if you're amenable to trading.

Visitors will find that the Hotel Multiverse at the Edge of the Cosmos between Canons (its official name) is very much alive beyond the bustling crowd. In fact, it might just be listening to you and anticipating your needs.

As for the rest? Well, that's up to you. You may as well socialize, right?

[ Clara pouts, reaching out a hand for him to hold out of pity. ]

I don't know if this counts as "spoilers" or not, but um... out of some cosmic happenstance, I will run into all of your former faces.

[ She pats his hand with her spare hand. ]

So if you see me with a different hairstyle in the distance, that's me trying to save you. It's a long story.

[The Doctor gives a soft smile because his hearts melt with her holding his hand. He's missed that but he can't say anything about being ahead. Too many spoilers she'll be tempted to ask of him.]

What do you make of this place, Clara?

[ Clara takes a deep breath and flails her free arm out and back down again in an awkward shrug. ]

Cosmic intersection of universes. A force bringing the most important people - human or not - together to resolve a danger beyond comprehension.

[ She giggles and squeezes the Doctor's hand. ]

Just used to it by now. What do you think? Hit or miss?

[The Doctor smiles warmly and for a moment Clara might see 11s face smiling though the older face. Someone feels lucky to have Clara back before The Raven.]

You - are always going to be clever. And that allows for many possibilities, now, doesn't it?

Oh, definitely, a hit. Well, Clara, shall we explore more of the hotel?

[ Clara lets out a giggle and a bit of a hop. She's missed this! ]

Ohh, where do we start?

Good question. So many rooms. I don't know where to start.

[ Clara grabs the Doctor's hand, as if he weren't any older or younger than the hand she used to grab. ]

That one!

[ She drags him in the direction of the... well, initially she saw it as the "skgrom" until she turned and saw it spelled "smoking room." She immediately let out a "eugh" and dragged him further down the hallway. ]
