welcome, new visitors

There isn't much fanfare for the new crop of visitors who have come in this month, but what they encounter is quite wondrous. Is it a cruise ship? Is it a hotel? Is it a tiny planet? No one can give them a straight answer, but all are encouraged to take part in the buffet, where visitors may find an assortment of foods both familiar and unfamiliar to them. There is an open mic night happening in one of the lounges on site, featuring staff and visitor performances. Or there are a handful of shops to browse if you're amenable to trading.
Visitors will find that the Hotel Multiverse at the Edge of the Cosmos between Canons (its official name) is very much alive beyond the bustling crowd. In fact, it might just be listening to you and anticipating your needs.
As for the rest? Well, that's up to you. You may as well socialize, right?

Regardless, at least that was able to fit past the stitches, and one good long (long, exceedingly long, almost half the glass gone long) sip later, he settled back in his seat, looking slightly more rosy than he did just a moment ago.]
Much better. You are very kind.
["Speaking" only happened after the glass was down and he had both his hands to use again.]
I will buy the second round, then. To whom do I owe the next drink?
no subject
Elim Rawne. You are?
And I'll take a sacra, if they have some.
no subject
Gan Ainm.
I haven't heard of sacra before. Is it very good?
[Actually, both fluffy deer ears immediately snap forward as he actually thinks more about this.]
I will have some too, if they have it, I think.
no subject
It's good. Like whiskey, but smoother.

The smile turns much softer, the expression hopelessly apologetic.]
Is it like mead?
[He will not say he hasn't heard of it before, no.]
no subject
No, it's smokey and dark. I'd take mead, though, if it's on offer. I haven't had any in a while.
