welcome, new visitors

There isn't much fanfare for the new crop of visitors who have come in this month, but what they encounter is quite wondrous. Is it a cruise ship? Is it a hotel? Is it a tiny planet? No one can give them a straight answer, but all are encouraged to take part in the buffet, where visitors may find an assortment of foods both familiar and unfamiliar to them. There is an open mic night happening in one of the lounges on site, featuring staff and visitor performances. Or there are a handful of shops to browse if you're amenable to trading.
Visitors will find that the Hotel Multiverse at the Edge of the Cosmos between Canons (its official name) is very much alive beyond the bustling crowd. In fact, it might just be listening to you and anticipating your needs.
As for the rest? Well, that's up to you. You may as well socialize, right?

[It's little wonder anyone would overlook Deimos to begin with. Somehow he strikes one as being easily unnoticed until he wishes to be noticed. His eyes are downcast to the glass of some amber colored liquor in his hand.]
Do you want to try it out for yourself?

Maybe! [ she shrugs, takes a glance to the stage, and then to her new acquaintance's drink. ] What about you? I'll go if you go.
[ ari leans in just a little. it's friendly - she does have some regard for personal space, but she's also not going to allow for wallflowers. ]

A duet then? What song would you choose?

[ if it's attention he wants, ari gives it in spades as she claps her hands together (quietly! she's not rude enough to interrupt an act!) and leans in, elbows on her knees, hands propping up her chin. ]
So — what type of music do you usually go for? Because musicals are my go-to, and certainly won't let us down, but I know that's not everyone's vibe.

I'm familiar with musicals, yes. In my youth I enjoyed the theater quite a bit.
[The Romans and Greeks certainly loved their plays. Music was included but not quite in the same fashion as the musicals this girl speaks of.]

[ she pauses. ] "Madame Guillotine," too, but I can't really catch the full vibe of this crowd. You get it.
[ does he? ari does not take any time to think about this, but she dos take a moment to regard him, the way he looks and carries himself. she tilts her head to the side and bites one of her nails. ] All that to say, I could totally buy you in a rock opera kind of deal. This is totally cheesy, but do you know anything by Frank Wildhorn at all?
