YOU'VE JUST CROSSED OVER INTO -
![]() ![]() ![]() from HOTEL MULTIVERSE AT THE EDGE OF THE COSMOS BETWEEN CANONS™ Guests who find themselves partaking in the Hotel's amenities quickly find some tricks afoot. The decor is first, neon lights changing to autumnal oranges, garish greens, and ghoulish purples overnight. Those who peruse the shops will find them stocked with masks and costumes, and the ambient music which plays throughout the ship is punctured by blood-curdling sound effects such as screams and anxiety-inducing musical stingers. This is Halloween. Those who utilize the Hotel-provided devices will find an ad splashed across their screens. Similarly, TVs, phones connected to the network, and flyers posted will read: "FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT OF OUR GUESTS, HOTEL MULTIVERSE AT THE EDGE OF THE COSMOS BETWEEN CANONS™ IS HAPPY TO PROVIDE HALLOWEEN-THEMED ENTERTAINMENT." Staff members' uniforms change, with employees adding costume pieces to them as the weeks wear on. Guests are strongly encouraged to put together a costume with pieces from the shops, but those who opt out will instead find one of the standard options (listed at the bottom of this post) and chosen at random (by googling "rng 1-19") in their wardrobe. After dark (or, what would be dark), the ship transforms into a hotel of horrors, the following chaos breaking loose: TRICK-OR-TREATING Costumed guests are welcome to partake in trick-or-treating with the ship's staff, who can be found with carts of candy in common areas. Guests are also offered flags for their doorknobs to indicate that they have candy available in the rooms if they would like to partake as well. SCAREZONES Grab a map from the concierge or walk the halls at random, but don't be surprised if a staff member jumps at you from the shadows! HAUNTED HOUSE Guests using the hotel app will find numerous ads alerting them to a haunted house that's overtaken one of the hotel floors (and honestly, the ads are impressive, opening as an emergency alert to a runaway alien), and the hotel itself plasters the attraction across its screens and walls overnight as well. Obviously, a haunted house is a great thing to do after you've had a ton to drink, or a great way to meet fellow guests (whether or not you're reaching for their hand in fright). However, to ensure the safety of all team members and guests, do not make physical contact with any member of our cast. Remember: the actors' intention is to frighten you. HORROR MOVIE MARATHON Guests hoping to keep things a bit more low key might find what they're looking for in the hotel's movie theater and lounges, which offer 24/7 horror movie marathons ranging from the classic to the avant garde. A programming guide can be found outside of each respective screening or on the app. Film buffs will be delighted at the hotel's library, but don't be surprised if your niche fave is banished to a graveyard slot. MASQUERADE The hotel's ballrooms are open late for those guests interested in keeping the revelry going night after night. Just don't let the anonymity of your costumes take you too terribly far (or, I mean, do what you want, everyone has a room, after all). If you aren't able to purchase a costume or aren't feeling inspired, no problem! Our courteous staff have taken the liberty of providing you with a courtesy costume, free of charge, to allow you to participate in the event. You will receive one of the following at random: 01: Ghost 02: Alien 03: Devil 04: Superhero (Your Choice!) 05: Skeleton 06: Pumpkin 07: Zombie 08: Vampire 09: Clown 10: Mummy 11: Werewolf 12: Black Cat 13: Pirate 14: Frankenstein's Monster 15: Witch 16: Spider 17: Bunny 18: Bat 19: Angel |
son of theme park ceo rocks up to the cluuub
( maybe he's been so far from home for the better part of the year and it's getting to him, but neon's eyes look a little ... sparkly when he watches the environment change around them. the tech is crazy enough to outmatch the staff at home, who work ass o'clock hours to make sure the seasonal decor is up in time for the next round of visitors.
he of course, has a variety of costumes handy. you will probably find him dressed as feather-covered howl jenkins pendragon because, really, what else are you supposed to do when you're an ethereal, leggy guy with long hair?
flouncing down the corridors, a well-positioned staff member in a mask, a bloody apron, and a butcher's knife hovers over him menacingly, brandishing the weapon before retreating into the shadows. )
Jesus CHRIST, ( neon swears loudly, leaping back and bumping into the person behind him. he bursts out laughing because that tends to be his reaction after having a little herbal refreshment before turning to you and helping you out. ) Fuck, sorry. Fuck - Oh my god.
--
( when he gets to the haunted house, he's absolutely fucking ready, maybe after a couple of bright purple cocktails in his system (and a lot of food, don't worry about that). this one, he's been looking forward to. it's reminiscent of the bloody disaster he helped his dad greenlight at one of the parks and if it's of the same caliber, he knows it's going to be lit. )
Dude, come on, ( he says encouragingly, nudging you with a feathered arm. in the clerb, we are all fam after all. )
--
[ for jasper, but honestly open to others. i mean we're all in masks so. ]
( he actually hasn't seen jas for a while, having separated after getting some drinks and going to check out other things. he's been enjoying the time they've gotten together. as much as he loves their other bandmates, he's always felt jasper's understood him on a different frequency than the others.
or whatever.
it's pretty and it's relatively dark in the masquerade ballroom. he's kind of tipsy again and is holding "bloody" glasses of bubbly (lined with strawberry syrup, of course). staggering forward, he leans over someone's shoulder (hopefully jasper's but you know), and whispers (keeping in mind that he's got a full feather mask covering half his face), ) Been looking for ya.

outside the entry to the haunted house, ari sips the remnants of her mixed drink, and she flashes neon A Look over her plastic cup, filled with something whiskey and creamy and called something like a brain shooter. ]

he's been chilling at the bar for a while, flirting with anyone who comes within two feet of him but, really, not much out. the reason why not is apparent to him, at least, and he sort of hates that it's apparent to him and oh, would you look at that.
there's the reason.
jasper turns his head a little to eye the feathered mask next to him and grins, turning around in his stool to face neon. ]

No, I'm more than all set with that. Last time I went in one of those I knocked myself out on a doorframe.

The Devil is a Gentleman }
[ Someone jumps out at him.
The Talking Monkeys, humans, are good for one thing and one thing alone—and scares are not among them. Instead of annoyance, the corner of his mouth quirks up into an all-knowing sort of smile, and it never reaches his eyes.
His tone is smooth with a flicker of bite to it. What he offers is not a threat, but a promise to be collected at a later date. A much later date. People always come to him eventually, after all. ]
If you would like to know true fear, I would be happy to show it to you. Samhain has been reduced to a commercialized farce, no one did it quite like Salem.
[ They thought he was running rampant, enticing their neighbors into his embrace through wicked promises that would never be honored — he was. ]
Hysteria is a powerful tool, when all they had to do was find the answer in their bountiful crops. Ergotism. When egocentricity meets fanaticism, there’s bound to be sparks. Fitting that those sparks stoked their own pyres, isn’t it?
[ It never fails to entertain him, what some of those talking monkeys will do to garner a place at God’s side. Oh, to be a fly on the wall when they realize they get to enjoy a one-way trip to Hell instead. ]
✞ MASQUERADE ➥
[ Far be it from him to avoid an event that will give him ample time to assess the other guests. No, he is not searching for likeminded souls, he is in the market for those teetering on the cusp between Heaven and Hell, wondering what the catalyst will be to tip them in one direction or the other.
Predictably dressed in solid black, Lucifer has selected a mask that allows him to flirt with self-indulgence. A nod to his former place in Heaven, it’s as bright as the dawn, but the eyes peering out from behind it are not kind. He even has a golden fiddle in tow, for those familiar with a certain toe-tapping tune.
One could be forgiven for thinking he is a predator awaiting his prey. To no one in particular: ]
An eternity of damnation, only to end up flanked by a hapless army of generic costume-wearing monkeys. Some may find that poetic.
[ His eyes flick toward the ceiling briefly, likely being the only one to get the punchline. A dark, elongated nail taps idly against a drink he has either forgotten about or only holds to play a part, catching a drop of condensation before it can fall. ]
MASQUERADE
[She's lingering in yet another ballroom when she hears the comment. There's a moment where she chokes on her drink before tipping her head to look in his direction. (And if she double-takes at the mask, well, that's just par for the course.)]
Isn't that what the season's all about? Reinventing yourself for a day?
[Okay, that and candy. And getting scared for the fun of it.]
Could do without the crowds, though, it gets kind of claustrophobic.

Trick-or-Treating
[ Now, Perrin - Courier Six - hadn't quite settled in yet. He'd been antsy - he wasn't used to being someplace this... nice without it having a trick. But a trick... or treat...? Sounded like something he'd heard of once or twice.
But his door had a flag, and he rested dressed up as Adam - Frankenstein's Monster. It was a costume he'd found for himself, and it was something he felt a kinship to. (He'd read the book so many times!)
But as somebody opened his door, Perrin instead gave a grin. ]
How about a lil game before y'get your trick or treat, hm?
Scarezones
[ It seemed that Perrin was almost at ease in the scarezones, not flinching when staff jump for him - though, as the event goes on, he learns to pretend. His one working eye had a gentle nostalgia in it. ]
Hey, long as it's fake, it's sorta nice.
[ Though, he seems a little prickled, a little on-edge if he doesn't see you coming. ]
Masquerade
[ Later at night, Perrin lingered around the ballrooms, simply observing people - looking still out of place. He nursed some juice, keeping himself slightly in the shadows. ]
Damn, some of these costumes are... next-level. Shit, people love creatin' shit, huh! Hey, where'd you get that one?

Haunted House— (I had to)
lmaoooooo we love the literal demon lord!!!!
you never really stop being a theatre kid
[It's weird to give out candy from a hotel room ... or, well, a spaceship room? It's not really that different from her apartment of course but Sarah had never gotten to give out much candy from there either. Kids didn't seem to trick or treat near as much.
Still Sarah is obviously enjoying it. Her theatre kid days are coming back full force with the costume she's wearing. A little addition here and there and Sarah feels she's a fairly decent elf. She's even offering candy out of a woven basket just to fit with her costume even more.]
MASQUERADE;
[At first Sarah seems more than a little tentative about going to the masquerade. She passes out candy, watches a few horror movies, even indulges in a pass through a haunted house before she ever approaches the masquerade.
It's ... not bad? Eventually once her costume stays firmly in place and she knows for sure this is more this hotel's doing and less some wacky Goblin King she even indulges in the punch. She is once against stupidly relieved it's not peach flavored. In fact?]
This is more like apple cider than punch.
WILDCARD;
[Hit me with whatever you like.]

apple cider is pretty good too! he's surprised, and voices his own thought to the nearby Sarah]

Anyone who happens to be in the haunted house may come across Pauline, standing bent forward with her hands on her knees, out of breath.]
I don't know why I did this...! It's like, way too much...
[Later, she can be found watching some movies. She doesn't normally watch scary movies, but everyone always made them sound so fun.
They're not.
During one particularly scary film, she shovels popcorn into her mouth and watches wide-eyed as the girl in the film cautiously moves toward the window. Pauline tenses as the girl reaches for the curtain and throws them open...revealing nothing. She relaxes only to scream and choke on a mouthful of popcorn as the killer suddenly pop up behind her, knife in hand. Pauline sputters and coughs as she lightly pounds her chest.
Finally, she's done a little trick or treating. Of course, she hadn't meant to. She would never. She's much too old for that sort of thing. However...staffers kept giving her candy, so it would have been rude not to accept it, right? She later sits in one of the lounges carefully sorting through her candy. If any other trick or treats should happen to sit near her, she'll smile politely at them.]

[Halloween is a totally alien experience for Arid, and she's had to spend some time digesting the advertisements and notifications popping up on the public screens and any time she accesses the local networks. She believes she has the gist of it now, even if she's still puzzled by the point of this celebration. And she can handle the staff jumping out to surprise her with some calm, once she's looking out for it. What the ads didn't prepare her for was getting candy pressed on her by the staff when she goes to see what they're doing with those carts.]
But I cannot--
[Too late- the bandage-wrapped staff member compliments her 'costume'(???) and waves her aside to make way for another group of guests who are enthusiastically crowding forward. Arid backs out of the way rather than argue, looking down at her fistful of brightly-colored wrappers with confusion. Per... haps she can trade these for something else?]
Scary Movie Marathon
[Some time later, she's hogging one of the program displays outside a movie-hosting lounge, scrolling rapidly through the titles lined up. She looks around at the next person to look like they're also taking an interest in the marathon offerings, her blank, glowing faceplate fixing on them.]
I do not understand. The purpose of these movies is to elicit fear. But the depicted scenarios are nonsensical. Why would anyone fear these?
[Look, Zombie Brains from the Deep is a classic, this droid just has no appreciation for CultureTM.]
no subject
How do you divine their purpose?
[she turns back to the movie, briefly touching her fingertips to the screen.]
They are like dreams.
[she turns again towards the person who spoke to her.]
Have you never been frightened of your dreams?

helaena targaryen | house of the dragon/fire and blood
This is chocolate.
[she turns it over and peers at the ingredients, then looks up and around for a familiar face.]
What is lethicin?
ii. [helaena knows nothing of this festival and its customs––of course she occasionally wanders into a scarezone by accident. when an actor jumps out at her, she screams loudly, then picks up her skirt and runs.]
iii. [a member of staff has given helaena a small veil to match her costume for the masquerade. she sways gently in time to the music, occasionally admiring the way the spider legs at her side follow the movement of her arms. it isn't until some kind of line dance breaks out that she looks around, curious.]
Are we meant to be dancing?
I. CW: Spiders/Anxiety (So excited, so sorry for this, Helaena^^)
The large groups of people, the lights, the noise… it was all too much.
Maybe this was a dream? Maybe collecting the candy would allow him to wake up?
Sunny held on to that hope as he wandered, too shy to knock on the doors. He didn’t want to bother the occupants, he couldn’t muster up the courage to knock… so the people standing outside with bowls would be his target.
Overhearing the word ‘chocolate’ from what sounded like a pleasant voice, the child turned around-]
-!
[Only to be confronted with what looked like a Giant Spider. Sunny’s eyes widened. His pulse raced, drowning out the noise around him. Like something was gripping his lungs and not letting go… all he could see was the Spider.
He gasped, scurrying over to attempt hiding under one of the nearby curtains, dropping his own bowl of candy in the process.]

Boba Fett | Star Wars: Legends
i. trick-or-treating
[ In truth, Boba hadn’t really been looking for anything whimsical or festive when he had stepped through the door of the hotel this time. Mostly, he’d just wanted an escape. His father had returned home from Coruscant a few days earlier—returned alone, without Zam. Ever since then, the mood at home has been oppressive. All Boba had wanted when he’d stepped through the door this time was to be somewhere else. To not have to think about what had happened and what his father had said. About what it's going to be like now that Zam is dead.
Well, he’d gotten his wish—and certainly, there’s enough baffling activity going on here to distract him somewhat from his woes, at least temporarily.
Case in point: he’s now walking around the halls in a black jumpsuit printed front and back with a white skeleton. The costume even has a skull-printed hood he can zip up over his face, though right now, it’s down so that he can see. A staff member had encouraged him to knock on one of the flagged doors and say the phrase ‘trick or treat,’ and then, as she had put it, ‘see what happens next.’
Boba feels some trepidation, but he’s too curious not to go along with the instructions. At some point, he works up the nerve to knock on one of the doors—which is when your character might be treated to the sight of a small, wary-looking skeleton outside. ]
Uhh… trick or treat?
ii. scare zones
[ Boba thinks this might be the weirdest holiday he’s ever heard of. The plastic pumpkin-basket in his hand has more candy in it than he thinks he could eat in a year—and all he’d had to do to get it is wear a costume and threaten strangers with a secret code at their doorstep. It’s nonsensical—but, if he’s being honest, also a little bit fun. In fact, he’s starting to feel a little less tense than he did when he got here. He’s almost started to relax—almost.
Unfortunately, he isn’t relaxed enough to spare the staff member dressed as a snarling werewolf who jumps out at him from behind a chair. Boba does two things at once: one, he leaps back with a shout. Second, he hurls the plastic pumpkin in his hand as hard as he can at the figure’s head. It smacks into the man’s masked face with an audible thwack, sending candy flying everywhere. ]
iii. horror movie marathon (cw: mention of horror-typical violence)
[ When Boba sees the roster of movies on offer, he’s pretty sure he can handle it. After all, he’s seen more violence and death than even most adults have in his short life. He’s even watched his father kill someone before. Plus, these aren’t even holomovies, so they won’t look real at all.
To his credit, he does just fine with the first film, in which the protagonists are beset by hordes of hungry, walking corpses. He thinks the corpses don’t look so tough, and if any of the protagonists had thought to wear armor, they’d be even less of a threat.
The second film is… more difficult for him. It tells the story of a group of friends whose vehicle breaks down in the middle of nowhere, and are then picked off one by one by a knife-wielding lunatic. Boba tries to think about it in the same way he did in the first film—that any of these people would’ve been able to take down the killer if only they’d had armor and maybe a weapon or two—but after the first dismemberment, it’s hard to keep that in mind. He tries to stick it out, but then the killer catches one of the women in a trap and starts towards her with that knife, and suddenly Boba would rather be anywhere else than here, watching her die. He leaves the theater with her screams still ringing in his ears.
Afterwards, he can be found in the lobby, sitting on one of the benches, hands wrapped tightly around the edge of the seat, shoulders stiff. It will take a bit of intuition about his body language for someone else to sense that he isn’t feeling well. After all, his face is completely hidden under the skull-printed hood of his costume zipped up over it. ]
III
At first he thinks about maybe teasing the guilty party about not being able to hold their drink, but when he spies what is undoubtedly a Child now that there's enough light to look at proportions something sharp yet altogether soft chokes the words out of his throat.
That's right. Hannah-Banana hates....stuff like this. Maybe it's projecting, assuming things about the kid. Maybe it's all for Josh's own bittersweet memories of siblings he no longer has when he settles down next to the kid on the bench.
Maybe, but he's still offering out his open box of chocolate-peanut butter candies, barely touched.]
Lookin' to raid the concession stand?
[Rather than touching on what might be fragile emotions, Josh chooses to deflect. He's very good at that at least.]

Sorry for the delay!
Koishi | Touhou Project | OTA
She would wear her costume for this. Not some sort of cute little halloween decoration but a suit made of various pelts stitched together and a leather mask with jagged teeth and sunken eyes that focused their natural glow straight forward. The outfit she would use to hunt on the mountain.
Trick or Treating
She would go out trick or treating. Who could turn down free candy, after all? Traveling in groups made it easier for her to be seen, though she did her best regardless. It took quite awhile for the unseen spirit to attract the attention of any non-robotic staff. Oh well. Maybe give her a hand?
Scare Zones/Haunted House
She couldn't really feel fear anymore, but that didn't mean she couldn't enjoy it! Expect the occasional scare from the little youkai. At least, when she was actually visible enough to do the scaring.
If not... well the fear-saturated air of the haunted house was an absolute feast. Woe to anyone going through while she was present, using her powers to amplify the scares to get a better meal.
Masquerade
She's also not one to miss a party. Good food and drink and company... And silly outfits! It was almost difficult to tell who were the real monsters and who was just playing pretend.
Regardless, here she was being far less of a pest. Mostly raiding the snacks. Though she might pick up an unattended accessory or two...
Wildcard
Have an idea? Go for it!
Bill Potts | Doctor Who
The fact that the Master was around and the costume was hard and kinda armor like had nothing to do with it that she'd easily admit.
She was wearing the best she could do at making a costume of an emojibot. She maybe wasn't the best at costume creation. Her face was totally sticking out from the neck bit, but she had rigged up a screen for the costume's "face" to change what emoji it was showing. Most of the time it was a smile with smily faces for eyes.
She could think of scarier costumes, of course. But this one was fun, and well.. armor.
Trick Or Treating
Going door to door for free candy? Of course Bill was in. Costume at the ready, she found herself the biggest bag that wouldn't drag on the floor and went around.
But after she had a good haul she headed back to her room to spend a bit of time with the flag on her door to give out chips. Felt right. Doctor was here. She was here. And giving out chips.
MASQUERADE
In her costume, dancing was a bit hard. But that was okay, she knew she didn't exactly look her cutest anyway. Not likely anyone would want to dance with her. At least, not anyone she wanted to dance with. But still, it was a social thing, and she did enjoy those. So she had gone to be around people, listen to the music, eat some food.
Her time with Heather had been great and all, but it wasn't so much with the parties. And she did miss just blending in sometimes with a crowd of people all having fun.
no subject
"Rawr!". A small person(?) was floating next to her dressed as some sort of big fluffy monster, though she wasn't wearing the mask at the moment. She hadn't been there a moment before...
"Did I scare you?" She was also the opposite of scary. Though, perhaps, a little startling with her sudden appearance.

Amy Pond | Doctor Who
Trick Or Treating
Amy considered just staying in and handing out candy. It was tempting. But then there would be other temptations, and with Rory not here, best not to open the door to her room in this costume to anyone who knocked. So she'd go around and collect candy, then she'd find some kid who seemed to have missed out and "accidentally" drop her bag into theirs. Good enough plan. And the excuse she'd give if anyone tried to give her a hard time for trick or treating at her age. Well, that and possibly a punch in the snoot for implying she was old.
Haunted House
Like anything this hotel could throw at her could be scarier than the other space hotel? Please. She couldn't wait to see what they think they had to scare her. She was an old hand at this point, and she was fairly certain she wouldn't scare that easy. Probably.
Maybe.
Movie Marathon
Alright, maybe she wasn't exactly young any more, and after being worn out by running around, she found a movie to be much more her speed. So she found herself a seat and settled in with her snacks. Soda, popcorn, microwave fosh fingers, and a huge sharing size bowl of custard.
If someone comes to sit with her, they may have to put up with her snarking at the movie. Mostly critiques on the costumes, and the level of scary it thinks it is but isn't. But if no one sits with her soon enough...
She might be found fast asleep, hand still on a fish finger that is half sunk into the custard....
MASQUERADE
Love a good party. A small domino mask in black and white was added to her police costume. Good enough. Now to go find the Doctor, as she realized she hasn't snogged him in quite far too long. Besides, that usually prompted him to find a way to find Rory faster...

she was a fairy...
( it's been a wild ride, these past few days.
this type of princess doesn't often have many demands, but she asks an excessive amount of questions, frustrated by the jargon salad across the board. each staff member never deviates from the script except, of course, to incorporate some of the halloween festivities.
lissa doesn't scare easily, but each scarezone eventually manages to get a small laugh of surprise from her. fine. fine. she'll stay a bit and enjoy herself before returning to reality.
the masquerade is enough to pique her interest. she may not seek the spotlight but she loves an opportunity to dress up, after all. lissa is gifted with a pink dress with a skirt that seems to resemble a butterfly's designs, and delicate matching wings whose ends are equipped with LED lights that make the vampire princess shimmer in the dark. her mask seems to be made of tree bark and flowers, bright eyes shining when she walks the perimeter of the dance floor. there's a bubbly drink in hand and she takes a sip, and then another.
there's a song that she recognizes and, with a gasp of delight, she spins around to set her empty glass on a waiter's tray. )
Oh, come dance with me! ( she waves you over. )

besides, at her core, laura is a coward. full of fear over a frightful dream she had when she was six years old, in which she dreamt her death; therefore, it should come as no surprise that she's found herself continually spooked by the thought of embracing the festive spirit. perhaps the pumpkin festival of kurbisfest would've been a better fit — or so she had convinced herself, until she somehow ended up standing on the edge of a breathtaking ballroom seemingly plucked straight out of a period drama.
how beautiful it is! the opulence of the scene captivates her romantic heart — the warm glow of the twinkling lights, the fantastical costumes, the soaring notes of the old-fashioned music, the grace of the dancers, and the enticing ambience all combining to create a fairy tale-like quality.
there and then, laura decides it's a dream come true. but there's something else, too — a sense of déjà vu. another time. another place. another girl.
there's only one problem with the picture — her.
overcome with anxiety at the crowded event where everyone else looks so easygoing and self-assured as they talk, laugh, and dance the night away, laura begins to move backward, a wallflower through and through, nervously rubbing away at the top of her arm. her desire to be seen evaporating like styrian mist under the morning sun as she fusses and worries over her lack of… well, everything.
that's when she hears a familiar voice calling out to her before she can slip away into the darkness that fails to complement her as well as the light of day.
glancing up, she catches sight of lissa, who of course looks absolutely lovely in her fairy princess attire. meanwhile, laura herself has been garbed in a gothic victorian-style dress in a striking shade of white that comes complete with a corset that cinches and pinches. on her face is a bold, thin red line running from her lip meant to be a trickle of blood. it should be noted that it wasn't her choice, but she'd acquiesced to the bride of dracula look for the authentic gown. )
I would, but… ( she makes a vague waving gesture with a hand, as if to say, "i don't know how." )

Sunny/Omori | Omori | OTA
[The sudden change in the atmosphere here didn’t bother Omori. He was used to such changes randomly taking place.
Flickering lights, the offerings of the shop changing, the background music…
(Even if, a small part of him, deep deep down and far away, could hear the staccato of a frightened heartbeat every time a random stinger went off in a dark hallway, or when a certain note got too close to a melody S̶̢͓̻̱͎͇̭̩̣̮̼̜̓̓̉̃̚ụ̷̭̟̲̻̦̱͇͈̼̞̟̃͂̈́͂̏n̴̙̳͈̾̀̀̄͗͝n̸̤̜̻̲̒̀̎y̷̧̨̨͍̖̱̭̭̻̪̩̖͑̑̄̀̈́̃̈́̉͐ didn’t want to remember.}
Omori himself did not change outwardly. Yet, as he was so often reminded, dreams could just as easily become nightmares…
Trick-or-Treating
[Omori would have normally not done this. Going along with his friends to encourage him? Sure. By himself? Never.
But… it was one of the only ways he could get Candy, which seemed important enough a reason for him.
Just in case he ran into any confrontations. Not that he had encountered any so far.So, Omori allowed himself to be wrapped thoroughly in the equivalent of Magic Space Toilet Paper and set to work.
All was right in the world. He had a bag for carrying candy, he was dressed in accordance with the requirements… except the child was wandering up to every random stranger he could find.
Holding out the bag towards them, expression unchanging. What did children normally say?]
“Trick… or treat?”
Horror Movie Marathon
[Would a normal movie theater have let a child in to watch the scary movies? Probably not. But if there were staff here, then they either didn’t care or Omori had snuck past them all.
The child had pointedly chosen an empty seat away from any large crowds. No gasps of surprise, screams, or tears came from him - he simply watched. Taking in the events on the screen as nonchalantly as if it were a cartoon.
Yet, if one looked closely enough, sometimes they would catch glimpses of Omori becoming a bit Sad: his gaze would narrow, trailing to some random point, before he would blink and realize he had missed half the movie anyway.
As much as he was used to the quiet, it would have been more fun to enjoy a movie with friends…]

The Begrudging Chaperone
Whoever convinced a middle aged, barely-functioning alcoholic of a detective to dress up in a soft and cuddly Saint Bernard onesie as a Halloween costume should be given a raise and life insurance. The detective can be found wandering the event looking entirely too squishable or seated at whatever bar he can find helping himself.
Trick-Or-Treating
Hank's got the luck of being one of the rooms handing Out candy, and can be found Definitely Not dad-napping in a fold-out camping chair while he waits for visitors to his stash of sweets.
Haunted House/Scarezones
As a man too old for Fun(TM), Hank will be found escorting folks who needed to leave the scares early. The Saint Bernard Detective is here to lead the terrified to relative safety.

Lanky Teen is a Wash Up - (potential Agatha All Along spoilers in thread)
Okay, maybe it's not the best entrance into any place. But to be fair, he was a little busy trying not to drown in his escape. Teen stands up and coughs up some of the water that somehow made it up his nose and in his mouth. Pretty sure that isn't sanitary. He gags and coughs up some more before standing upright again, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
No, he doesn't look like he's part of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Broomstick anymore, he makes a mental note to write that down later along with Eat Hex Curse in his notebook, his suit is a lot different. Dark blue velvet with gold trimmings like a really nice version of some...French court suit. Right down to the heeled shoes. He pops his foot up to take a closer look - he could work with this.
He looks up and confusion crosses his features. Are the trials supposed to be back to back like this? Odd. He doesn't see the others. He raises himself up to raise his frame above to see if he could pick out the five women that he had entered the Road with.
Basil (Omori) OTA
Basil wasn't quite sure what had led him to this specific place, after all he had been looking for... something? He couldn't quite remember what it was though... Well as long as he was here he might as well have some fun! He liked looking at all the bright colors and costumes that the others wore! Some of the adults dressed in costumes ushered him towards an area where an array of costumes were and he chose the one that drew him to it- an angel- before quickly changing out of his regular attire, remembering to leave his pastel flower crown on.
Trick-or-Treating
The twelve year-old quickly went around, brightly smiling at people and saying "Trick-or-Treat!" with vigor- being quickly awarded with candy. He doubted he could eat it all by himself but that's what sharing was for...
Haunted House
While wandering around the area, Basil had come across the house-like replica, staring at it's sheer size in awe before cheerfully heading in. He originally had been excited to see all the work people had put into the place, but quickly realized that this place wasn't quite something he enjoyed- jumping at every little noise or costumed staff member that appeared, to the point that he even froze after some of the scares and refused to move...
Horror Movie Marathon
Excitement at the prospect of seeing a movie after such a long time had him rushing towards the seated area, quickly sitting down in the closest seat he could find. What he didn't expect was the amount of scary scenes- he guessed he should have figured due to the other attractions- and went about hiding behind his seat and poking his head out at random times to quickly shoot it back down when something violent happened...
Haunted House
Omori wandered through the various rooms of the haunted house after that glimpse of his friend
?had caused him to Focus on the otherwise boring attraction, not phased. Even when cast members jumped out at him, even as lightweight ghouls dropped suddenly from the ceiling or fake cob webs blocked his path, Omori continued onward, as stone-faced as ever.If anything, their attempts to bar him from his goal were mildly irritating. Leave it to Basil to cause that particular afterimage of a feeling to run through him. Yet Omori chased after the boy nonetheless.
It was only the fact that Basil had frozen and refused to move further that Omori had found him
Though, honestly, with how bright Basil’s hair was in comparison to the gloom of the haunted house, it should have been easy.Walking up near silently to the boy, one paper white hand found Basil’s own, flushed and shaking.
You Tagged Basil.
Now to hope Omori hadn’t scared the living soul right out of the flower child in the process.]

Now he's a bat. He's wandering around, trying candy and cautiously exploring the haunted house. Maybe he'll watch one of the movies, if someone asks.]
Mari | Omori | OTA
Halloween is no excuse to not have a picnic! Any looking around the common area will notice that there is a red and white picnic blanket spread out, multiple bowls of candy set out. Mari is dressed in a cute black cat costume, a bright smile on her face as she will gladly hand out candy to those who approach her.
Scarezones
Even if you managed to catch Mari in the common area, you will notice that after walking down the various corridors, after a certain distance away-where you can no longer see the common area- the familiar picnic and girl will once again be there. How she might have moved so quickly or gotten ahead of you is anyone's guess... Her array of candy will also change and match whatever the theme of the area around her.
Haunted House
Mari can be found waiting at the entrance to the Haunted House, familiar picnic basket in hand. She is more than willing to go through the house as many times as necessary for those that would like someone to share the experience with.
Horror Movie Marathon/ Masquerade
When given free time... Mari can be found either watching the various movies showing in the theater- a sparkle in her eye, as though she is thoroughly enjoying the experience, gladly willing to sit with those alone so they too can enjoy the showing- or the masquerade- dancing along to the tunes as perfectly as she can, even if she doesn't quite know all the music.
Haunted House
If she wants to go to the haunted house, even if it's not real, he'll go with her.]
Uhm...
[He does look different, more colorful, and his right eye is alredy covered in bandages but... he should at least look enough like Omori for her to recognize him? In the worst case scenario, Sunny will merely tell her all is a costume and he has the eyepatch is to imitate Spaceboy...]
